The Huntsville Skating Club has developed the following guidelines to insure the safety and enjoyment of all skaters. If at any time a skater is found not following these guidelines, they may be asked to leave the ice at the discretion of the coaches. Coaches, parents and caregivers should reinforce and encourage appropriate ice etiquette and behavior.
· Skaters will follow the instructions of the Coaches/Assistants politely and promptly.
· Skaters are encouraged to interact positively with other skaters at all times. (Any verbal or physical contact on ice will not be tolerated.)
· Skaters will use courteous language.
· Skaters will respect all arena staff, ice surface and arena property at all times.
· If a skater is injured, DO NOT move them. Seek the
· assistance of a coach.
· No food, drink or gum allowed on the ice surface.
· All skaters should have an understanding of who has the “right of way”. Private lessons have the “right of way” followed by those skating to their solo music. Faster skaters should stroke to the outside of the ice surface. The “right of way” is given to the dance being played. Execute spins at centre ice. Execute jumps at the ends of the ice surface.
· All skaters should participate in group times unless they are receiving private lessons

Post dated cheques will be required.
1 VOLUNTEER UNIT - $40 (1 booklet of tickets) OR a post dated cheque for $40 for one 4 hr block
at Bingo or Skokie.
2 VOLUNTEER UNITS - $80 (2 booklet of tickets) OR $40 (1 booklet of tickets) and a post dated
cheque for $40 for one 4 hr block at Skokie or Bingo OR a post dated
cheque for $80 and two 4 hr blocks at Skokie or Bingo
