Volunteer Commitments
The Huntsville Skating Club depends on volunteers for our program. Skokie Skate (a competition hosted by HSC) is our major fundraiser, plus we have other smaller fundraisers through the year. Additionally, we need volunteers for special event and activities.
Skokie SkateSkokie Skate is our Club's annual competition. It takes a considerable amount of work on the part of our members to make this a successful event and fundraiser. This year's event is being held October 19-21,2018. We hope all our families will plan on helping on one of these dates.
Carnival/End Of The Year ShowEvery year to two years, the HSC likes to showcase the talents and progress of our skaters with a year end show, Carnival. This year the event will take place on Sunday April 7th with time TBD. Lots of help is needed in preparation for the show, as well as on the day of the show. Do you have an interest in set design, costumers, program design, or show planning... This is great place for all families to get involved and help celebrate the season's success of their child.
Stay Tuned for other volunteer options.

VOLUNTEER POLICY: The Huntsville Skating Club is a not-for-profit organization and relies on volunteer support to help keep club costs down. Included in all youth program fees is a $50 volunteer surcharge that will be refunded upon completion of at least (2) volunteer commitments per child. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the season.
